Naturally full lips without filler or surgery

FOTONA LIPLASE MUNICH

fotona-liplase-lippenvergroesserung

As an experienced dermatologist, I frequently meet patients looking for full, sensual lips, which are often seen as a sign of youth and attractiveness. However, not everyone is naturally blessed with full lips. Even if you are, lips can even lose volume over time.

With more than 20 years of practical experience under my belt, I have specialised in various procedures to help your mouth look more alluring. One particularly innovative method I offer is the LipLase® treatment by Fotona. It stimulates collagen production in the lips without requiring fillers or surgical procedures. The result is natural looking voluminous lips.

What is LipLase®?

LipLase is a revolutionary treatment that naturally stimulates collagen production in the lips. Using Fotona’s specialised laser device, the lips are treated gently without causing significant damage to the tissue. The light pulses penetrate deep into the skin, where they tighten existing collagen fibres. At the same time, they promote natural production of new collagen, giving the lips a long-lasting fuller, more youthful appearance without any injections.

Who can benefit from the LipLase® technique?

The LipLase treatment is perfect for women and men of all ages desiring fuller lips because they have very thin lips due to genetic predisposition or age-related volume loss. LipLase is also an excellent option for people looking for a natural alternative or complementary treatment to fillers such as hyaluronic acid. However, it should be noted that the volume increases are moderate. The treatment is not suitable if you are looking for massive volume increase. It is not a substitute for fillers such as hyaluronic acid.

Before the LipLase® treatment

Prior to the treatment, I will conduct a detailed consultation with you. We will discuss your individual needs and expectations. You will receive detailed information about the treatment. Afterwards, you can ask any questions you may have.

Treatment procedure

The laser treatment begins with thorough cleansing of the lip area. My patients usually describe the treatment as extremely painless, but I will gladly apply an anaesthetic cream upon request. The laser is then gently guided over the lips so that the light pulses can penetrate the tissue and act on the collagen fibres. You will merely feel an increased tingling sensation.

The total LipLase treatment only takes about 15 minutes. You can return home after the final lip treatment.

Aftercare & results

After the lip treatment, you should moisturise your lips well and avoid direct sunlight at all costs. As the treatment is non-invasive, extensive aftercare is usually not necessary. The number of sessions required for a LipLase® treatment can vary. Generally, 1 or 2 sessions may be sufficient to achieve a beautiful result. However, a touch-up treatment after 4–6 months may be advisable for longer-lasting results. The final result is only visible after a few days to weeks, when collagen production reaches its peak. The ultimate goal of LipLase is to produce noticeably fuller lips.

Costs of the LipLase® treatment

The cost of the laser treatment varies. It depends on your wishes, the number of sessions and the complexity of the laser treatment. You will receive a specific offer from me during a personal consultation. However, you should expect to pay at least EUR 400 per session for the Fotona LipLase treatment.

Personalised consultation and treatment

In my practice, I attach great importance to personalised consultations, because I want to understand the specific needs and wishes of each patient and offer the best possible treatment. I hereby invite you to a personal consultation where you can learn about the opportunities and benefits of the LipLase® technique. Take advantage of my online video consultation to receive an initial assessment and personalised advice or, if you prefer to meet in person, visit me in my practice in Munich.

Frequently asked questions about Fotona LipLase

Answers from the expert Dr Duve

How do I prepare for the treatment?

“Avoid sunbathing for about 10 days before the treatment.
Do not take any blood thinners or alcohol for at least 24 hours beforehand.
Make sure that your lips are not inflamed or infected with herpes on the treatment day.”Nehmen Sie mindestens 24 Stunden vorher keine blutverdünnenden Medikamente und keinen Alkohol zu sich.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihre Lippen am Behandlungstag keine Entzündungen oder Herpes-Infektionen aufweisen.

Is the LipLase treatment painful?

The treatment is largely painless, with some patients reporting only a slight tingling sensation during the procedure. If desired, an anaesthetic cream can be applied beforehand.

How long does a session last?

A LipLase session usually takes about 15–20 minutes, depending on the specific requirements of your treatment.

Can I return to my normal activities immediately after the treatment?

The LipLase treatment does not require any downtime. Therefore, you can resume your normal activities immediately after treatment.

Are there any restrictions regarding the use of lip products after treatment?

To ensure fast healing and best results, I recommend not using irritating lip products for the first few days after treatment.

How long do the results of the LipLase treatment last?

Results can last from several months to several years. It depends on individual factors such as your age, lifestyle and how you care for your lips after treatment. For long-lasting results, a touch-up is possible after 4–6 months.

When are the results visible?

The first results can sometimes be visible immediately after the treatment, although this is mostly attributable to swelling after the procedure. The final result is only visible after a few days to weeks, when collagen production reaches its peak. The ultimate goal of LipLase is to produce noticeably fuller lips.

What are the risks of laser treatment?

As with any aesthetic treatment, there is a small risk of side effects. Generally speaking, however, laser treatment is very gentle on the tissue and is thus considered low-risk. In individual cases, slight reddening or swelling may occur after the laser treatment.

However, these occurrences are usually temporary and subside after a short time. You can prevent this from happening with gentle cooling.
